With 18 years in the mortgage industry, I still get up every day excited about being in the industry. In my business development role, I am constantly looking for opportunities to help my company grow by creating new relationships and enriching the ones I already with my team. As a licensed loan officer, I guide and educate you on your journey to achieving home ownership. Throughout my own journey in the mortgage business over the past 18 years, I have gained the invaluable insight and experience needed to forge solid relationships with my referral sources, team members and borrowers alike. I consider myself both a teacher and a student, as I know we can always learn and grow from those around us; however, one simple principle remains the same for me now as it did the day I started. I operate with compete integrity and strive to continuously earn trust from those I work with. My best effort every day is you can expect from me.
I started my career in the entertainment industry, running a large family fun center that I owned and operated from 1997-2003. I also ran a mobile disk jockey company where I provided on site music entertainment at weddings, sweet 16 parties, and corporate functions. I loved getting up on the mic and entertaining people. Watching them have a great time brought me great satisfaction, and it was a joy to be a part of their special occasion. In the year 2000, I was introduced into the mortgage industry and I started off part-time. The idea of helping people buy a home, and seeing that same kind of satisfaction on someone’s face to my experience in the entertainment industry was very appealing to me, especially since this level of personal satisfaction for my client in this industry was much more rewarding. I decided to sell my entertainment business, because I knew the mortgage industry is where I belonged. Helping people buy the home of their dreams needed to be home for work! I have had a various roles in the industry throughout my career that has helped me gain knowledge on various aspects of the business. I understand what is like to be on the frontlines selling, as well as recruit and manage an operation. I currently hold a NJ state license and understand how the mortgage process works all the way front office to the back office.
I thrive being challenged. I push myself to expand my knowledge base of the lending industry and stay up on market trends. I pride myself on my attention to detail and knowledge regarding the variety of products in today’s complex lending environment. Often times, many borrowers don’t always “fit the box”. My depth of understanding on industry guidelines helps me structure a deal and say “yes” where other said “no”. I’ve worked endless deals side by side with investors, builders and realtors. If I am fortunate enough, I will get to work with you to help you achieve your goals.
I have been married for 18 years and have 2 beautiful children, Alexis and Jake. I try to attend all my children’s activities, which consist of cheerleading competitions for my daughter and football games for my son. We also love our two cats, Teddy and Maddie.
In my free time, I have been playing competitive softball for the past 30 years and enjoy going to the gym to workout.
