David Huckans is a long-time resident of Upstate New York, residing with his wife, Robyn, and children, Joshua, Benjamin, Julianna and Samuel. 

David was the Principal at Hometown Mortgage Corp. from 1997 till 2026, an independent Mortgage Brokerage license in New York, Florida and Texas; focusing mostly on residential, government-insured mortgages.  They pride themselves in helping first-time homebuyers achieve their homeownership dream while maintaining a life-long relationship that produces positive results for homeowners as well as the company.

Dave supports his wife, Robyn in her real estate brokerage, Huck Realty.  Which caters to the Greater Capital-Saratoga Region of Upstate NY, while assisting residents in achieving their dream of homeownership.

From 1992 to 1997, David was employed by Homestead Funding Corp., out of Albany, NY, the largest independent, residential lender in Upstate NY.  He had a very successful track record of originating residential loans and eventually managing a branch until 1996.  Prior to 1992, David worked in private banking at Fleet Bank, Albany, NY and received a B.S. in Business Finance from Ithaca College.
